The Colony Grill makes the BEST PIZZA on the Planet. It took me many trips with my friend Rosie from Stamford to figure out what exactly made this place tick so well. Then one day while I was eating my favorite pie it dawned on me! I will not reveal it though. You must go there and find it out for yourselves,it's worth the trip!! Good luck!

Uhm, so sorry to dissapoint you all, but as nice as Pepe's and Colony is (for Connecticut), they look like little baby nothings compared to Di Fara's and Totono's of Midwood (Brooklyn) and Cony Island (Brooklyn), respectively.

In other words Brooklyn has real pizza, end of story.

My family have been faithful customers of the Colony Grill for over 50 years. It is a tradition that has been passed down from generation to generation. My parents were both born in Stamford Conn, and the rest of my family still live in Stamford and surrounding areas. My mother and father moved to Central California in the late 70's, and I was born in 1981. I'm a true California girl all the way, but Connecticut, and the Colony hold a special place in my heart. I just got back from a trip to the east coast, and miss Colony pizza desperatly!!! It's something you just can't duplicate. Luckily I was able to have it twice while on my trip. It has been the meeting place of the family for so long, and will continue to hold such special memories for the Kane/Parker/Mann/Richmond/and Esaw family!
