... was buy The Wife a digital camera for Christmas. Sure, it's a nice, generous gift, and it will come in handy on our upcoming vacation. Since she was eager to see if everything worked, I let her open it last night. She checked it out, played around with it, and then repacked it.
However.
I had no idea it would bring out the worst in her.
As I was getting out of the shower this morning, I heard the bathroom door creak open.
"Honey? You done?" she quietly asked.
I whipped open the shower curtain, and said "Yes, I am!"
And as soon as I looked up, I noticed that my shy, quiet and reserved wife had morphed into Bob Fucking Guccione.
FLASH! Snap!
"You did not JUST take a picture of my coming out of the shower!!!"
"Hee hee!!"
"Deborah Sharon, delete that picture, NOW!!"
"Hee hee -- look, you're so cute!!"
"Honey, I'm serious. The last thing I need is for you to forget that it's on there, and come Sunday, during the party, someone (ROBYN) gets a hold of the camera and there I am, in all my glory."
"Oh come on. Look -- you're holding a towel over you. You can't see anything."
"Oh really, smart ass? Then what's that?!" I yelled, pointing to the image on the LCD.
"That's your arm, you big baby."
"Really. Since when does my elbow HAVE A GIANT PINK NIPPLE?!?!?! Give me that damn camera! NOW!"
"Hee hee!! OK, OK, I deleted it."
Indeed. Somehow, I just know this is going to come back and bite me in the ass.
