Let it be known that, if you are wearing cologne or perfume and I can smell you coming before I see you and 20 minutes after you have passed me by, I might be prone to acts of physical violence.
They just passed the cell phone law in NYC to protect people from auditory assaults from loudtalkers in public places such as the movies, theaters, museums, etc. So what about olfactory assaults? Why should we be unwitting victims of the chemically challenged?
You can shut off a cell phone, or shut up the offending cell phone user, but you can't rid a scent of dead flowers and citrus from your nostrils for hours after you've been enveloped by a cloud of rancid molecules, especially those that have a tendency to linger in the air for an eternity.
Face it, a majority of perfumes and colognes do NOT smell nice on everyone. In fact, most don't even smell nice. What smells wonderfully erotic in a bottle may reek like whale urine once it's had the opportunity to mix with your own body chemicals after a few minutes.
So, ease up the Aqua Velva, Chester. Pheromone-laced colognes are not the new Spanish Fly. The only reaction you're going to trigger in the opposite or same sex will be a sharp stick in the eye.

I'm all done with these people who drown themselves in cheap-ass cologne/perfume/stinkywater and then think it increases their sex appeal. No, Junior, it doesn't. You still come across like an asshole, and to top it off, you're choking everyone in your immediate vicinity. Argh!
