My belated anniversary/birthday present came today! The chiminea finally arrived this afternoon and as soon as I mangle it Deb puts it together, I'm going to toss in some wood, light it up, and stick a skewer up the cats' asses and roast them like marshmallows.
I hear they are cream-filled.
Posted by LA at April 03, 2003 06:29 PM | TrackBackCongrats on your birthday, why am I always the last to know. But, alas, it is a remembering time to recall when a belated present arives. And with anticipation you try to assemble your new found toy. I guess the best part is finding the little plus and minus signs do line up with the batteries when you have vision like mine. Which reminds me of a science teacher that I once had. To quote him, "If at first, you don't succeed, try following directions." Now back to the matter on hand, and I am sorry about the chatter. I remember a dream I had the other night where a friendly four legged friend invited a group of us out to dinner. For time sake we will call her "Miss Pee Bottom" You should know that this isnt her real name, but for the sake of legality it will surfice. Miss P. Bottom was telling us a tale of a time when she was out to dinner with a group of friends, and one of the guests invited an extra friend for dinner. When the meal was finnished, and the bill came there was a dispute over how to divide the total. One person said we can divide it up by the number in the group. But Miss P. Bottom thought that since that one guest invited the extra guest, why not have that person pick up thier part of the bill instead of making everyone else carry a heavier tab. Well, to make a long story short, the added guest had been invited to the dinner by the member as a treated dinner for them. The members intention was that this is a NON CHARGED dinner to thier special guest. Are you still folowing me? Well afterwards the member sent a note to the invited guest a bill for thier part of the meal ! You know it times like this that even my cerebellum begins to ache.

Of course it's wrong! It's illegal!
I've never done anything illegal before.
