Finally! A reality TV show that might actually engage me! Of course, it's on the Science Channel. It's called Rough Science, and this is its description:
"We take a group of science geniuses to two exotic locations and give them a list of assignments unlike anything they ever faced in school. They'll have three days to finish the tasks using only a basic tool kit, raw materials they find on their island locale and, of course, their fabulous minds."

Best of all, it takes place in the Caribbean. Now that is my idea of fun. All they need to do is provide copious quantities of Carib beer and Painkillers and it's paradise! (Look, I've already admitted to being an uber geek. Move on.)

So, it's Friday, and I'm already looking forward to Monday. I want this final exam over with, already! It's also Mother's Day and my dad's birthday this weekend, which means more family gatherings when I am otherwise mentally occupied.

Yes, I have been quite distracted lately. Is it any wonder? I've been mentally fatigued and emotionally drained for 2 weeks now. I think I need to stop at Border's Books tonight and stock up on some summer reading. Need to keep my mind busy or else I'll start hyperfocusing on nonsense again.
