Blood test was Saturday and my EEG was this morning. Still no news on what's plaguing my thyroid and brain. Well, the latter is probably just missing.
I'll be calling the doc in the morning to see if he's heard anything yet.
Oy.
Meanwhile, I need to start searching for an endocrinologist pronto. My advisor (an MD) told me last night that my neurologist is probably going to want to "go in and have a look around" at my thyroid anyway -- which means, it's possible that I'll be facing surgery soon. Grreat. In any even, I think I'm better off having an endocrine specialist look at my thyroid than a brain surgeon. Those guys can't be trusted ...
Meanwhile, I'm still banking on the "I swallowed a frozen pea and it got lodged in my neck" theory in order to keep myself amused. Sadly, no one else is buying into it.
Sigh.
