Yes, I will update the blog. Eventually. I've been busy - so what else is new. For those of you dying to know -- Yes, I did meet the one and only MJ of Fishwrap fame, and her lovely wife -- MJ's done a splendid job of describing the momentous event over on FridayFishwrap.
I'll probably add my 2 cents here, along with an update about my trip, but I MUST discipline myself and do some homework. Quickly, though, the trip was amazing - lots of fun, despite the torrential downpours, mudslides, and sinkholes. We only had a few celebrity sitings: Heather Locklear, driving past in her BMW in Malibu, and Ellen Degeneres' DJ in West Hollywood. Yawn.
I've decided I MUST live in Santa Barbara. Must. Until, of course, I find someplace new to obsess on.
Speaking of unhealthy obsessions, I do have some news on the med school front -- but I'm holding off on chatting about it for now.
