Settling In

All moved into the new house. Kind of. I'm still living out of boxes, and only today did I get around to actually unpacking and putting away my clothes... 2 weeks later!

I've also been studying for my block of exams next week, and communting to Long Beach, so I've been a bit busy. I also didn't have Net access until this past week. Ditto a washer/dryer/frig.

I did take a break to have a GREAT dinner at a cool restaurant in Venice Beach: Joe's. Good food, great service, really nice atmosphere, and very gay chic. My dining companion proudly introduced me as "the hot lesbian doctor," which of course made me snap my head around to look for someone in a low-cut dress, heels, and a riding crop who may have been entering the bar.

Duh! I mean, honestly. Hot lesbian doctor! As if!
I still have another year to go before I have my degree...

Not much else is newsworthy. And I've engaged in enough displacement activity for one day, so I suppose I should go back to the books.

Yes, its another exciting Friday night in Claremont, California. Oh lookie - my new Playboy came! Schwing!
